I had just finished editing a clan match in Vegas Pro 9.0. I had all the effects and everything done, and I started rendering. I left my laptop for an hour or two, and when I came back the video hadn't even rendered 1%. I thought it was probably a one-off, so I closed and then re-opened my project and started rendering it again. I then left it for another hour or so, and when I came back it still hadn't hit 1%. I then came to the conclusion that there qas a problem with my Vegas, so I uninstalled and then re-installed it. I then opened the project again and began to render. An hour later it hadn't hit 1%.

I was getting pretty annoyed at this point, so I decided to try again the next day, with a different video. The same problem happened. I then thought it may be something to do with my laptop beingt slow or something, so I decided to do a disk-cleanup and ran a CCleaner scan, and got rid of all the crap on my laptop. I then left the video rendering overnight. When I woke up, I went to check my laptop, and it still hadn't hit 1%. I searched the internet for a soloution, but couldn't find one, so I decided to ask the good people of NGU.

So, if you've ever had this problem and know what to do, please tell me how to fix it.

Have you ever rendered anything on your laptop before? Maybe your CPU just cant handle it.
