If you think Sony Vegas is confusing, it's not. It's very easy to get used to. Half the buttons you never need and will eventually black out from your worry. So get Sony Vegas Pro 10 and lookup some tutorials on youtube for editing cod gameplay in sony vegas. This will get you used to it.
I recomend trying twixtor since that is what i did first to get used to editing. After your confortable you should move to Adobe After Effects CS4. Edit in that, it's better and will quickly become easier. Also if you want you can try making an intro in Cinema 4D by following a tutorial, but again it all takes time, You'll get used to it. I've started editing nearly 2 weeks ago and I'm doing allright. Just been abit sloppy.
But the most important thing is NEVER GIVE UP EDITING, you will find it hard at times but never give up. You'll manage. :y:
