(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I know, I know. I'm a noob, but if you guys could help me out, that would be great. I want to have an avatar with a transparent background. I did it in Photoshop, but when I upload it, a white box goes around it. So how would you recommend I would do it? When editing my avatar, should I upload it to NGU first, or go through tinypic.com? Nothing has worked for me. Thanks for your help.

This is the file I'm talking about, when I put it as my avatar, a white box appears as you can see.

It may be the fact the png image is too large try a smaller image which may take away the White background u seem to be getting, other than that I have no idea :/

No, gfx general is the appropriate section.

@OP: make sure the jersey is 130 x 130px before uploading. Then either upload it to ngu or tinypic, it won't matter.

NGU only accepts avatars that are no bigger than 130x130 pixels. The image you are using is something like 120x155. When you upload the picture, NGU re-sizes it, taking away the transparent background. Not sure why exactly, but that's what is happening.

I tested my theory and I was correct, as you can see here:

I re-sized your image for you, so here you go. Save the image and upload the same way you usually would change your avatar. :y:
