Already knew this but will be helpfull for beginners

if CTRL + ALT + G doesnt work just click on the image layer and right click > create clipping mask

@TeamEnvyUs: It's a clipping mask, a layer mask some something completely different that allows you to hide parts of a layer without damaging it

For best effects mess around with the blending options and various text colours. If you're using this in a sig you can offset it to the right and a bit for text that fits in almost perfectly with the bg but is still defined. Using a stroke on the text will help define it a bit more if you need it
