I like it but, colours don't really go with the render, however it makes it look different, which in a way I like. I'd consider adding a border to complete it.

It is not as good as the one i left a big comment under. Let me explain why.

I feel like the tag is all in all a bit too messy. The background lacks flow, how? Well look at it, can you tell me 1 or 2 specific directions the flow goes without being interrupted? Need more practice with that bro.
There is not a lot of smudging or blending effects on the render, it just looks like it is sticking out of the sig a bit too much. Just positioned infront of the background. lastly add a light source :y:

Keep practicing.

Just a quick tip, id say the best way to learn is to ask someone who is good at gfx (one who's style you like would be best) to do a teamviewer session with you. That way you can watch what they do and ask questions, or ask them to do a specific part slowly. Its like a tutorial but a million times better. I know thats one way that helped me to learn =]
