This thread is mainly for people just getting started with C4D or GFX in general to bring more activity to the GFX Section.

What You Will Need:


- Cinema 4D (obviously)
- Patience
- Time [/color]

Now, for the Tutorial:


First, what you wanna do is open C4Sad Awesome

Next, Go to MoGraph, and select MoText. You should get something like this:

Put in your desired text and font. Then change the depth to 160:

Next, copy and paste the MoText, change the depth to 100 and move the text to about the middle of the original text:

Keep the smaller text selected and go to the Caps tab and change both the start and end tab to Fillet Caps:

Now, go to the bottom section where it says Materials and select File>New Material:

Double click the material and select your desired color:

Now go to the Reflection tab, click the arrow next to Texture and select Fresnel. After that, change the blurriness to 15%:

Click the X to exit out and drag that material to the original text:

Now make another material and change it to another color you like with the same settings. Then, drag it to the text you copied and pasted:

Now long click the four arrows and select the floor:

Position your camera to your desired angle by holding Alt and moving your mouse:

Now make a new material, make a color black, Reflection>Fresnel, change the blurriness to about 40%, and drag it to your floor:

Now you are basically done, but the text portion is only half the work. The next section will teach you how to begin the infamous "rendering" process.

Okay, after you have all those things done with the text and you're satisfied with the angle, go to Render>Render Settings:

Click save, and where it says File: click the button on the right, save it wherever and name it wherever. Change the format to PNG and leave alpha channel unchecked:

Exit out of Render Settings and press Render:
You must login or register to view this content.

Congratulations! You have started the rendering process! This can take anywhere from 10 minutes to 2 days.
