This is my first attempt at an interface object (blah blah blah).
Inspired by Skybrix (DeviantSkybrix)

well in this one, I used only layer styles.
In my next one I'll use burn and dodge tool for more realistic shading/shadows.

That looks pretty damn awesome.

There's a few bits you could fix, like around here:

At the sides, where you can see that you have smudged/erased it away. And also at the top of the roundish bit: it doesn't do a smooth curve.

And here:

Again, the bottom bit doesn't follow a curve - it's kinda bumpy.

Also, this bit:

Isn't symmetrical to the other side.

But, all-in-all it's awesome.

I never understood why people all ways try to limit themselves
Just seems strange to me

I used it to show people you can do it with just layer styles, my next one is planned to be dodge and burn only.
