Besides, borders give the art a boundary, a frame, and the idea of anything in space is that it never ends. The idea of a border would have only given the infinite expanses of space a limit.
Exactly, so then you would question the use of the border, art is art if it provokes a responce, good or bad, to make you think and question why an artist did something, or why they didnt. Thats what a border would do. And i think a thicker top+bottom border would look good, to not stop the infinite"ness" of space but to keep it within boundaries, which are the boundaries of knowledge.... the undiscovered.
