Looks very nice, although the left and right buttons don't fit the theme in honest opinion. I'd probably go with a black shiny button with white for the arrows. Though not entirely sure.

Other than that, wonderful.

Not bad for your first website design. It could use a little more detail as it seems a little dull. Also, you might want to try and use a better font that will fit to give it a professional look to it. Try not to use drop shadow on the fonts and gradients on the social icons and etc. Other than that, great job.

Looking good simple but gets the job done. Maybe use a custom made font ?
