v2 is better i dont think it needs to be smaller and you didnt only use the lasso tool you used the text tool lolz (i dont think it counts as a tool though..... oh well0

But it looks like it would look nicer if the text was smaller and thiner and spaced on a angle just above the pink i think that would look better than it is now

HOLY SH** it looks like you used the opentool (even though it would have looked nice if you did in some areas) but i still really. like. I really love art peices like this.

For one of your first attempts it's really good, the lines work well against the thicks strips, also there is good depth.
