(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hello, it's brianbbrian1 aka Brian B posting again with another signature I have made. I got my render from planet renders, I ended up picking a render of zed and followed another tutorial from DeviantArts. I was referred to go and read the GFX for noobs thread and I tried to use some of the pointers from there and from the tutorial. Please leave your comments / constructive criticism and preferred or recommended brushes and tutorial guides if your viewing this post. Thank you once again!

That's nice buddy! But maybe you should integrate the text in a better way and maybe the sig will looks bit better without the black border. Smile

Like Xavier said the sig would maybe look better without or with a white border and the text could be better placed.. But your signatures are getting better by every try, you have some talent Smile

Keep at it Brian. The thing I realized is that you tend to leave the render floating in the sig. Try to make the design more around the render than making a BG. Example, what if you make him jumping out of a pile of snow with those brushes (snow) exploting outwards. Make him seem likes hes actually in the air with a lot of speed and power. Try making your border thinner, 2px white, is what I tend to use. One more thing, place your text close to the render, play around with the open space that the render provides, check out the space between the sword and his face, maybe above the knee and under his chin? Move things around, see what you like.

Keep working and get the hang of photoshop and testing out what is what. After a few more tags if you want we can go on skype one day where were both free and I can help show you a thing or two like Burn did with me when I was learning.

Most everything I was going to say has been said so i'll just leave you with this;

Spend a few hours searching for "C4D Effects Pack" or "C4D Render Pack" and just download as many C4D packs as you like. Do the same with textures, renders, fractals, stocks, etc. until you've built up a good supply of resources on your machine. Then you can just dig through them and throw random things together and learn from it. Once in a while a random bullshit experiment goes extremely right (I.E my current signature.)

Just keep following tutorials my brotha! It's good to see people getting into graphics again.
