When I record using my Dazzle DVC 100 using the Program you get with it "Instant DVD Recorder" I go to save the clip Ive recorded and it automatically saves it into a 'folder' called VIDEO_TS. I open up that folder and my 'clip' is automatically saved as VIDEO_TS.IFO and saves like a copy of the clip called VTS_01_0.IFO along with 4 other 'files' that cant be opened 2 of each called VIDEO_TS.BUP and VTS_01_1.VOB
The thing is, only one of the clips can be 'imported' into Vegas and the other one cant, not sure why.
So when I go to record my second clip it flashes up "Are you sure you want to overwrite VIDEO_TS.IFO? YES NO" Click no, nothing happens. I was expecting it to give me an option to name it as something else, but doesnt. Click Yes, it overwrites it and my first clip is lost.
I thought I found a way of getting round it.
Because it saves it in a folder, I renamed the folder thinking it would help and looked as if it did. So I go to record again and the overwrite thing doesnt flash up. YES! But... when I go into the folder that I already re-named, the most recent clip I recorded is in it..
I even tried re-naming it manualy in 'Properties'. That kinda works, but when I go to import it into Vegas, it doesnt like to open it anymore
So basically, im stuck with one recording. Every time I go to record it just overwrites it over and over.
Why is this happening to me?
If anyone could please help, it would be MUCH appreciated!
