Hey guys. As most of you know I lost all of my graphic work and resources after my previous laptop had a fatal hard disk crash which unfortunately is unrecoverable. Anyway it took about a year of saving but I got myself an MSI gp70 2pe Leopard 17.3" gaming laptop and man I love this thing. It's taken a few weeks for me to download photoshop and i'm still in the process of downloading using resources so tonight I decided to take a dive and try to make something again and well this is the result. tell me what you guys think. I'm trying to shake off a lot of rust so bare that in mind. Rate and CC

Thanks Outsider. I'd love the GFX section to come to life again and I think with a rebirth of SOTW would definitely help that cause. I'll post as much as I can and offer lessons to those who are looking guidance. Thanks for the feedback and rating I agree that the blue is just a little too overpowering now that I pay more attention. Thanks again and hope all is well.

Welcome back! Its nice to have you here again. I'm really sorry about what happened, I can't imagine what would happen if I lost all of my resources.
I would love to help you get started again with resources. I have thousands stored up on my computer that I use and would be happy to share with you.

losing everything is soul destroying. trying to create something with nothing to work with is so so hard and if you coud share your resources with me I'd be so grateful. thank you for the feedback I'm happy with the result but as always I want to improve in the coming months

It was inspired by Mirrors Edge the video game as I was a huge fan of the clean graphics and the solid bold red's and almost blinding whites. I used photoshop cs6

Sempi bb. I mees'd u. also could you pm me where you got photoshop. I had the same problem you had with the disk crash (on two computers at the same time nonetheless).
On Topic: The effects are extremely well done, the render placement, c4d placement and lighting are all spot on. I love the idea and the execution is on par with the best. the only issue I had was it actually took me a few seconds to realize what the actual focal was. The big ball on the bottom left is drawing my eyes away from the true beauty of your focal.
