Laptop all the way man. The iPad in my opinion is just something to show off, a gimmick if you will. The iPad lacks a lot of key features such as usb ports and an ethernet port. And where apple really fails is that you cant even watch flash videos on the iPad which is very very stupid on their part. For the same price of an iPad you can get a very good laptop. Plus the iPad is basically a bigger iPhone without the phone capability.

Why would you want to get the iPad over a laptop? The iPad is just a larger iPod Touch I think it would be a waste of peoples money. You would probably get bored of it after a while (5-6 Months) then just go on without it. Laptops in my opinion is a way better of a choice.

Yeh i agree get a Laptop. The iPad is something that you can get later on in life its not a must have thing.

The Ipad is really cool and isnt just a bigger ipod touch but Apple wont let flash make a player for their ipod OS (Iphone, Ipod Touch, and Ipad) so if you want to access half the internet you need to get a Laptop.
Plus a laptop you can get great games not just stuff from a App store
Go with a LAPTOP

Get a mac labtop u will never fail by picking it

Although it looks cool and is a great prop to show off at the end of the day it actually takes the P I S S holding it after a while and I don't understand what you could use it for get a laptop man.
