I have a droid, and i love it.

I own a Droid. The only advantages it has over iPhone is more customization. iPhone is nice because of all the apps. I'm gonna compare with a chart

Internet Browser: Droid = iPhone
Games: iPhone > Droid
Utility Apps: iPhone < Droid
Customization: Droid > iPhone
Sexiness of phones: iPhone > Droid
Input: iPhone < Droid (swype and keyboard)
Hacks: iPhone > Droid
Ease of Piracy: iPhone < Droid
Widgets = Droid

Both Android& iOS have their ups and downs. I personally go with iOS because of the App store. It has WAY more apps. Also on droid you always seem to find cheap amateur apps, which don't give you a bang for your buck.

It really depends on what you want to get out of your phone man, I have used the incredible, eris, moto droid, and lg ally, the htc thunderbolt comes out the same time as the iphone 4 and it has 4g, and it will be the first phone on verizon to have working 3g video calls it looks like the evo but has a better processor, and will definitely put the iphone to shame with its AMOLED screen compared to that rtarded toshiba retina display... if you ask me, android is way more customizable and hackable as you can root any phone giving you command over every aspect, my htc incredible has the user interface of the iphone but the quickness of android, check out miui-developers.com and thats where you'll find that rom, the android community is really booming and xda-developers.com will definitely prove that to you, just browse around those forums and you have everything you need for a blazing fast phone that will put any iphone to shame
