Hi, Can you explain to me what a "NAND Unlock" is, and how can I do it, is it safe or risky?

sorry if it's a newbie question, but I just got my Evo 4G about 3 weeks ago coming from an iPhone 3GS.

Thanks.

Do a barrel roll!
You create a thread on how to root a Android phone yet when people ask for your help, you just say Google it and Try it.
If it doesnt work your phone wont get fuk'ed
. What kind of TUT or HOWTO is that?

What a cr4p thread, with no support.

I would not try this even if it was confirmed :n:

Nand unlock basically means you can flash a custom recovery to install custom ROM's. Nand will allow you to backup your current ROM config and flash new ROM's
