More apps? How many more are you talking about? I have the droid and there are only a few apps that I haven't seen on the droid that i have seen on the iPhone. I went into Verizon to see about getting an iPhone and they told me it was garbage. You have to jailbreak it just to use Grooveshark, and other apps along those lines. That is stupid. The iPhone (for Verizon at least), doesnt have GPS, which the droid does. The graphics are slightly better on the iPhone.

Check out CNET too. They usually have great comparison's of each device.

My M16 is broke
Personally, I have a 2nd generation iPod Touch, and a Droid 2, and I know you can't make assumptions off an iPod, but I am happy with what I have. The Droid is an amazing phone, better than anything else I have ever had. Plus, the Droid also support for MP3's, and has a 3.5 MM jack in the top for headphone. So it can do what the iPhone can do and more.
