Now comes the tricky part. First go into the SQLite Editor app, and a first time user will encounter the 'superuser permission' message. Just click allow and then head to "Settings Storage" section. NOTICE: there are two different options for this, so choose the one with the tools icon:
Now reboot your Android device. Upon starting it up again, head over to the Mobile Hotspot App (I think it's green on Verizon). Turn on the Hotspot and under the Client Start Adress, change the IP Address to 192.168.22.2
