Unfortunately, no. Its a bit more complicated than jailbreaking. I just got my one x today and am loving it.

You don't need to root to get free games, you just need to download .apk files from like 4shared or from cracked app stores, if you look at the main android section there is a link to the snappz market i think and with that you can get free games.

You can get free apps without rooting. Just go to 4shared, put the app you want and add APK at the end (Angry Birds APK). Download, install the app, and voila. Smile

you can YouTube it for a better tutorial, but I warn you to be careful of malware.
