I've been a user of Windows Phone since the 7 came out, now I'm really excited for the 8.
Windows Phone hasn't really been very popular compared to iPhones and Androids, but when the WP8 comes out, I truly hope everyone sees how amazing it is. Here I included a video that demonstrates many features of the new phone and detailed specs. It's full 2 hour video of Microsoft introducing Windows Phone 8. The first 2 minutes of the video is an intro of the Windows Phone 7.

Well, statistics show that the growth of Window's marketplace is currently going faster than Android but a bit slower than iOS. Windows is at about 100k apps. Android and Apple are at about 500k. Windows took 2 years faster than Android to reach 100k, but still slower than Apple. Will Windows become app successful like Android or iOS? Only time can tell.
