(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Sorry if this is somewhat of a newbie question.
I am looking to get some emulators for my new android device and I'm curious to hear what the community suggests for the top ones.
I'm mostly looking for gameboy color and gameboy advanced emulators but others such as snes would be nice to have.

After doing some research I heard that the GBA emulator 'gameboid' was a pretty good one. Unfortuneatly it was taken down from the play store. Further googling reveiled that it had been put up on a marketplace called slideme for free but since it has also appearently been taken down >.< Anybody know where I can grab an official download of this from? or if there is a better alternative?

I heard from a friend that there is an emulator for android much like the visualboyadvanced link one that allows transfer cable spoofing. I cannot find such a thing. Anybody heard of this?

Thanks for the help

I use My Boy! It doesn't have transfer cable spoofing (that I know of) but it does have everything you need in an emulator, can speed the game up 2x with the press of a button and turn it off again, or if you get the full version from a dl/you pay $5 for it you can speed up by 16x (at that point games are unplayable haha)
And for GBC I

Alright thank you for your response. As it turned out my friend had the chance to grab the 'oid' series of emulators when they were free so he was able to send me the .apk files.

Currently running gameboid, GBCoid and SNesoid. They work nicely and have variable speed boost. Using it with my wii controller currently. Might try connecting my ps3 controller at some point

Still on the hunt for one that spoofs gamelink. There must be one, right?
