Just couple days ago a member on this forum with the name of Pixie Lott posted a thread on leaked images and info regarding a smart watch from Samsung called Gear. Well guys, today I'm here to officially confirm that there indeed is a smart watch from Samsung on the way. Heres whats official.

The Gear will come in 6 different colors ranging from "formal to playful" (Mistry) and will be equipped with a 1.63 AMOLED screen with a 320p x 320p Resolution, 720p camera, speakers, 4GB storage space, Bluetooth 4.0 Low Energy standard, 315mAh battery and a single-core 800MHz Exynos processor.

The Gear will be compatible with the new Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 editions, along with Galaxy S4, Galaxy S III, and Galaxy Note II. The Gear will come with stock apps and features such as a pedometer app, Gear's ability to find your Galaxy or vice versa Galaxy finds your Gear, and not to mention the 70+ apps specifically made compatible with the Gear such as Ebay, Path, Evernote, etc.

The Samsung Gear will begin shipping to 140 countries on September 25th but U.S. and Japan won't get the Gear until October. The price is to be around $299.
