(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Ok so ive been using a usb mod menu for a while and getting a bit pissed trying to get others to cfg infect me, so i bought a second hand ps3 which is a ChECH 3 and has 4.30 OFW on it, what i am wanting to do is jailbreak it but i have read so much about it ive got myself all confused, what i need to know is two fold, firstly, what programmes do i need, secondly, where do i get them from without having to do a stupid survey first,lol.

It may sound sad but..
Since you're on 4.30 firmware..
There is no way to jailbreak/mod your PS3 unless you buy a FLASHER like Progskeet or an E3.
E3 is most durable because it is a solderless FLASHER.
After that, just look on this site You must login or register to view this content. this site includes all the homebrew and all the latest Custom and Modded firmwares to date. [Keep in mind there is also a 'CFW' which would work on all OFW, but that was an april fool'

i WAS WRONG, ITS NOT THE 4.30 I AM ON, SORRY ITS 4.25 I REMEMBER I WAS GOING TO UPGRADE TO 4.30 BUT DECIDED AGAINST IT AT THE LAST MIN.

Nope it makes no difference at all, Unless it's on 3.55 Firmware you're not going to be able to mod it without a flasher.

FOSCA is right, it has to be 3.55 or less
