Post: [ Help ] Issue with sounds (Out of memory)

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hello NGU,

I've been working on a 1.14 private patch recently and I decided to use the snd_playlocal command to indicate a successful launch/loading. After the sound plays, if I change the map, play the sound again, open the menu again, or anything else like that, I get an "Out of memory" error. I do NOT get this error if I remove the snd_playlocal command. I read somewhere that there is command which "resets" the sound system (which I assume clears the sound file from memory). Does anyone know of this command? If not, does anyone know how to fix this annoying issue?
This only happens with 1.14 patches, but not the old 1.11 ones. I'm guessing IW has the most inefficient bullshit code I've ever seen, but whatever.

Thanks in advance.

playSoundAsMaster plays the sound for everyone. I might try that actually, I'll be right back.

What's best for your patch is to have no sound, but (if) u do find a solution pm It
