Data Transfer Please Help!

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I just recently bought another PS3 that was able to be modded and I got it on 3.55 CFW today and I went to transfer my data from my first PS3 with all my game saves & stuff on it & it didn't let me transfer on my 3.55 PS3 it tried to make me update. Is there any way I can get all my stuff on my hacked PS3? Also, if I can't, does that mean I wouldn't be able to transfer the other way around (my modded PS3 to my unmodded) when I put a modded patch on there? I mainly just wanted to put modded patches to mess around with and have fun.

You would have to spoof your CFW ps3 to the latest firmware.

There must be something that your doing wrong since most CFW's you can data transfer on. You should have no problem data transferring from your 3.55 to your OFW ps3. But I am not sure the other way around. If you had your console ID to your OFW you could make a backup of your OFW then restore on your 3.55 to get all your saves etc.

what do you mean "spoof" my ps3? can anyone help me set up a modded lobby on mw2? I just need something to help me pass the time for summer when I'm at home lol.

Turn your internet off on both ps3's for data transferring. ;p that should fix your issue for modded patche's just copy the modded patch_mp.ff over in the directory of the game you want to play on. so for example modern shitfare 2 dev_hdd0>game>blus30377(us region your's may be different depending on where you live)>usirdr>patch_mp.ff easy have fun.
