take a gander in the mw3 modding tools section

if 444xmods is freezing your PS3 you need to figure out why. i used that daily and even used it with other tools and it never froze my CEX. but like the guy above said do to the tool section and make sure you look at comments and reputation. 444xmods is a great starter. did you download the updated CCAPI.ddl and ps3lib.ddl for CEX? if not google NEW CCAPI FIX FOR ALL CEX TOOLS and copy both files to the folder with the tool. i wasnt able to use any tool till i did that. hit replace file when moving them over
