(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hey guys, I just started out PC gaming and was wondering if any one had any tips on positioning your hands on the keyboard and mouse tips and stuff, and also what is a good keyboard and mouse for about £120? Not each, for both. Do you change and of the keys to suit you and your style? Thanks.

As for the keyboard, I am getting this one:

You can adjust all the buttons I think, and enable a Windows Button Lock so when you prss it by accident you dont close your game Winky Winky --->

As you can see it has a tiny display, wich can show what songs you are playing or your CPU power and RAM Winky Winky 80 Bucks here in the Netherlands, not sure what it is in the UK but its name is the 'Logitech Gaming Keyboard G510'
Oh I forgot; The keys are lighted so you can see them in the dark! And you can change the colours of the keyboard, from red to blue to green Happy

As for the mouse again, I love it! You can adjust your sensetivity with the two buttons that are at the scroll button Winky Winky It doesnt have any lights tho, but I love it.

you dont need that good of a mouse/keyboard setup. a LOT of pros use standard Microsoft mouse and keyboards, ive had the razer deathadder and razer turantulla but ended up swapping it for a monitor with a friend. when it comes to FPS games on pc you want to have a low sensitivity anyway for better aim, and for a keyboard you just need to find a comfortable one with a good layout. if you play MMO games then you might want a keyboard with a lot of programmable keys and same with a mouse. i would recamend buying a cheap microsoft or logitech setup, and make sure you have a decent mouse mat aswell as they help a lot!

Yeah, I don't use anything special. Then again, I'm no 'expert'. The posts above me look like some really nice things if you've got the cash for it.

Keepin it real
Get a cherry red mechanical keyboard and a G9x mouse and your set, i've got both and they are very comfortable and easy to play games with. Mechanical keyboards are a bit pricey but very worth it. ~120+

As long as you have a responsive keyboard and responsive mouse, the only thing you really need to work on is reflex.

It may seem difficult at first, but once you getting into key-mapping and become comfortable with your setup, it just comes to you. There really are no tips I can give, except good posture, get used to aiming quickly in first person shooters (which kinda comes naturally), and try to keep your hands off of the desk or place you're sitting, it allows more control.
