I've got a very realistic game for you science nerds to try out. Being a science nerd myself, I've found this game very fun and educational. This game allows you to mix various solids, liquids, and gasses and see the outcome of it.
Name of the game: The Powder Toy
Objective: Mix gases, liquids, and solids together and see what happens
There are many different elements in the game which can be used to experiment with.

Nerdy but looks quite cool
How did you find this ?
I've known about this game for about a year now. I'm not quite sure how I stumbled on it. I believe I was watching gun videos and stumbled across it.
(Yes, you can make a shootable gun in it.)
Now that's actually really interesting. The UI seems a little clumsy, but I suppose it's common to those types of sandbox simulator games. I loved that you needed to use nitrogen as part of the ignition -- my kaywngstiad is a chemist so I get to hear all about reactions every night (mostly organic chemistry looking for synthesis reactions, involves a lot of carbon and boron right now.)
Hm, I will have to check this out.
