(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hey NGU

I was wondering if this laptop could play games smoothly such as Far Cry 3 and Battlefield 3 on medium - high graphics.
I'm looking at buying a laptop with the following specs.

3rd generation Intel® Core™ i7-3612QM Processor 2.10 GHz with Turbo Boost up to 3.10 GHz

16GB DDR3 System Memory

640GB Hard Drive

NVIDIA GeForce GT 630M -1GB Dedicated Video Ram

Please reply.

Cheers

I would assume so. I'm not too sure about laptop video cards but DICE recommends that you have at least 1GB dedicated video ram which you do. So I don't see why you wouldn't be able to. You probably won't be able to run BF3 on ultra but you definitely could run it from medium to high. And maybe ultra if your resolution is set to 1280x720.

In Flames Much?
I would avoid laptops for gaming the price you pay is not worth it.
Not sure on what spec you would need to need these games without googling it.

Can’t trickshot me!
I think so... but i heard powerful desktops were better for computer gamers as laptops tend to overheat fast and stuff.

Also desktops can run for extremely long periods of time without overheating/getting dusty/ other stuff.

But then i dont know much about PC gaming, my PC isnt extremely high tech.
