Excuse my language, but it really just upsets me greatly that such a good concept got destroyed so quickly. It was only their second game in. I played 30 minutes of it, and I was ready to throw in the towel. What I hate about it: Voice acting is bad, its like all the actors/actresses were drunk off their ass when they made it. The way you walk also leads me to believe that your character in game is constantly drunk. The story was very predictable too. I knew from the second I put the game in and installed it that the boat was going to crash. So how do you guys feel about this horrid excuse for a "video Game"? Let me know, maybe we have something in common.

Yes, im not one to procrastinate. It really bothered me the entire time I played it.

riptide is a remake of the first game, they just added things into a new place, so to expect it to be crazy better was something you shouldn't have done, i kinda figured it wasnt going to be different after seeing the game play how ever long ago they released it.

The voices are the same as the first one from what i can tell but who plays a game for the voices lol, the walking is the same as the first one with increased retardedness of being stuck on a stick, pebble, or even on the top of stairs, and how about the slowness of walking in damn water, you tell me why everything else seems to not slow down in water but i come to a crawl.

I like the added weapons like the nail gun and so on but still dont understand why i lose money when i die, its not borderlands where you pay to respawn so i could do with out that too. The game really is not different from the first game besides a few minor things and being on a new island. The graying of weapons in your backpack also pretty dumb and should just be thrown out but thats not a big deal at all.

The game to me is a good game, yes things should be different like getting stuck on stupid crap while walking and how long it takes to swing certain weapons but the game is good and you cant say that in the beginning of the game that crazy man was going to burn the town down, yet i dont try to figure out whats gunna happen i just play and go where i go.

The game does its purpose and thats to run around like a dumbass swinging a baseball bat with a car battery taped to it killing shit therefore i like it but they do need to fix crap like in the first game but lets hope it takes alot less time to start doing that, also add a damn save spot or button.

Not so much with me. I was a HUGE fan of the first Dead Island, and as soon as I threw this game in the ol' disc slot, I wanted to take it right out. The story is what has got me. ITS TERRIBLE. Doesn't help that there are a lot of glitches and bugs they should have caught right off the bat in testing stages, but I guess they decided not too.

and the story does suck, quit with the fight the hoard crap it got old the first time, they didnt add alot of skills either, its only like three or four that i saw, its more buggy then the first one

It shouldn't have been a retail release. They should have just made it DLC that could be played without owning the first game but they just used it as a cheap cash in.
