Except it's peer to peer networking and if you have someone on a shit pc and connection good luck trying to have any sort of fun.

"most" of the time every game that ive played has been playable and been fun

Peer to peer networking doesn't work on PC for that exact reason. They've made more then enough money by now to move this to dedicated servers. Hell even the ps4 version has the same problems. Not gonna lie though, sword actions on that little trackpad thing is kinda sweet

Yea if you play on a console. The console ports recently that are peer to peer are absolute shit.
Doesn't matter if the game is popular, if it's on the pc and it's p2p, you are going to have some bad times.
