im getting duel cards too... but i dont know which one i should choose... i dont have much knowledge over any of these things... im not sure which ones to get... but i dont want to spend over 1800-2000.

Take any of the AMD Phenom II x6. They're the shit, I have it on my desktop and it just rapes. All those graphic cards will play your basic multiplayer games. However I do recommend the HD 6750+ or the GTX 560+. Dual is not necessary, but freaking breath taking.

but im not sure about the motherboard... idk what the difference would be

and what fps would i be able to get a game like cod 4,5,6 or anything?

Any $500 computer right now can handle CoD 4 pretty decently. A $1000 computer will play it really well. That computer will destroy CoD 4 and will run Crysis very nicely
