Climbing up the ladder
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hello guys I want a new PC which is capable of running games like skyrim, fallout, cod zombies, the witcher 1 and 2, don't really want to be able to play battelfield or anything like that. I am willing to build one although I have no experience in doing so. I would appreciate it if someone could point me too a pc or the components of one able to run such games.

Oh and I don't want to spend more than £800, I will if I have to but I want one for as cheap as possible.

Thanks for reading guys!

I am aware there are threads like this already in existence but I would like a PC tailored to my gaming needs and not someone else's.

i got the hp pavilion dv6 and i also own mass effect 3 and skyrim on it and the graphics are amazing it runs quickly, it has like 4 brains so it runs extremely fast i bought it from best buy for 600 dollars and paid an extra hundred for a year worth of insurence, i have never had any problems and it also has (which i think is the best thing) a finger scanner so no one can access it but you. I would really recommend it but im not sure how much 800 euros is but yeah hope this helps

find a pc shop near you and they will build it for you.
for your proccesor you should get an itel i5 2500K - As its a very good proccesor, its fast enough to do pretty much anything, and it overclocks really well, if you have an extra £50 get the i7-2600k.
Graphics card, Get a 7850. - it has 2GB GDDR5 which is plenty.
Case - Your preference really, i recommend a Coolermaster 430, but if you wanna lower the price, get a cheap CiT case.
Hard Drive - Western digital caviar black, (7200rpm) get 1TB or 500gb if you want to lower the price.
DVDRW - Dont need anything expensive, a LiteOn iHAS or samsung dvdrw will be fine.
Motherboard - Get the ASRock Z77 Extreme 4, it has lots of features and it goes very well with the i5 cpu + its a z77 board, so you can always upgrade to an ivy bridge cpu.
psu - Dont get a cheap psu by a shit brand, it will break within weeks. Get one off either corsair, ocz, or coolermaster, anything above 500w will be fine. unless you plan on using Dual Graphics cards.
RAM - Get 8GB of GSkill ripjaws, or corsair vengance, but the vengance does have huge heatsinks which is kind of bad. Try to get 1600Mhz or 1866Mhz. as they will perform best.

All that should be about £650 i think.
and it will be able to play most games on ultra.

Thank you for the help bro. Would you be able to point me towards a cooler looking case that would be able to support all of the components?

Also, where is the best place to purchase these components?

The case is your preference really, just look around for one that you like, as long as it supports atx motherboards its will be fine.
And for buying components, it depends where youre from, Newegg's probably the best place for people in the usa etc, Amazon is also probably one of the best, if you're from the uk, there's scan, ebuyer, overclockersUK.
i wouldnt buy from any shops that arent listed above, amazon and new egg are probably your best bet Smile

More or less the same as what your man above said, with a few changes.
If you plan on changing anything, the CPU can be dropped down to an i5 2500k which will save 20euro.
You can drop the third party cooler if you want, but the stock one isn't great and quite loud.
There is cheaper motherboards you can get, you can build it yourself if you prefer to do that.
I'd also suggest bumping up the SSD to a 128Gb one for an extra 25euro, totally worth it.

A soundcard isn't needed unless you are a really sound junkie, the onboard sound is good enough for most people.

Total: £739 including shipping + it will come built.
