i wouldnt get the 560 if i was you. the 7850 is far better value Smile

also, do you really need a sound card?? most modern mobo's have a pretty decent soundcard and you wont notice much with a cheap sound card like that.

also, could you stretch your budget by about $50? then you could get a crucila m4 ssd. this will make using your computer sooooo much smoother. crucial m4's arnt the fastest drives, but they are one of the most reliable.

hope this helps Smile

As the guy above said, 7850. If not that, the 6950 both run better than the 560ti and use less power and are around the same price.
I've also never heard of that PSU brand before, make sure you get a good quality one. Don't ever cheap out on the PSU.

the ti is a nice card, also drop the sound card and drop the monitor down to a 23in led asus has some really nice ones on newegg for 200$ i have 1 then you can get a GTX 570 graphics card, and a corsair 600w power supply, that is a super awesome gaming setup, all my prices from newegg.com

that will get bf3 on ultra and prob max out call of duty, and just overall dominate, and i think you saved some $$, that power supply is a work horse i have it in my pc, it prettymuch the best 1 for 100$, never cheap out on our power supply i cant stress that enough

Monitor is overpriced.
Card isn't worth the money anymore, 7850 is cheaper and better.
You're right about not getting a cheap power supply, but that doesn't mean you have to spend twice of what you need to. A good 550w PSU for 60$ will do the job.

I laughed when you said that it can run BF3 on Ultra, and probably COD. As if COD is a more power house game than BF3

Edit: Nevermind, I'm a dumbass.

But the monitor isn't really that overpriced. And the 570 is still better than the 7850.

But in terms of money, I would REALLY suggest getting a better PSU instead of a 550W one. There is no point to buy a smaller one now, and be hassled to remove it later when you want to upgrade. Just get a good 750W PSU now and save yourself a lot of trouble and time.

I wouldn't reccomend the 570, as it's a last gen card. And there are better cards for the money. So in that case a 7850 does win.

I've seen better monitors for around the same, I may have been a little harsh, but I still think there is better for the same money.
Most people will never need more than 550w. GPUs are getting more and more power efficient each generation. Sure get a 750w PSU if you have cash to spare, but most people will never avail of the extra power.
And the 570 and 7850 get almost identical frames but the 7850 except doesn't get as hot, and consumes half the power and can overclock like a beast so I'd always recommend a 7850 over a 570.

I would highly recommend using a Be Quiet PSU.
