Why gaming laptop? Do you need it for portability reasons? Because you'll get like 2 hours of battery life while using WiFi. I'd suggest building your own gaming desktop if you are going to be using it around the house. Laptops overheat easily as they don't have the best cooling, and the internal parts are rarely upgradable. Also you can't do things like overclocking because of the heat issues that I mentioned above.

Alienware are the most overpriced POS computers. I'm not saying that becuase I'm jealous. I just built myself a $3,700 gaming rig which would have probably cost me $12,000 if it was a alienware.
