Total $609 so far without motherboard and i want to spend under $900 i have saved up $589 so far October i will have the rest maybe some memory aswell i have 12gb already and in the future probably 2 660's.

Firstly, you must know that you cannot use 3 sticks of RAM with LGA 1155. You should buy one more stick that is the same as the one that you currently have. Unless you are using 3GB sticks (which I don't even think exist) you are going to have to pick up a new stick. This is because LGA 1155 uses dual channel memory, which means you'll need 2 or 4 sticks or RAM to utilize it. x58 used triple channel memory that used at least 3 or 6 sticks had to be used in order for it to utilize it.

Are you sure that you want to go down the path of Sandy Bridge? The 2600k is actually an excellent processor still and it overclocks like a champ. It doesn't create as much heat as Ivy Bridge does, so it's up to you really.

If you are getting the 2600k I'd suggest picking up a good cooler as well. Since you said your budget was 900 dollars, here is what I'd get if I was you.

How you could get the H100 too, but this is a more compact solution that only really falls by 3-4 degrees in comparison to the H100.

I have a cooler master CPU cooler plus i can afford to spend a 1,000 or so give or take is maybe the i7 3820 sandybridge for $299.99 You must login or register to view this content. i kind of want to use my corsair vengeance ram i already have but if i have to ill buy some new ramHappy
