Post: Which monitor? help me decide for gaming.

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); OK guys, i'm starting to look into these two monitors for gaming. if you guys play on monitors it would be appreciated if you guys can shed some light on which monitor i should lean too.

here they are: BOTH ASUS.

I'll put it this way if you want to do PC Gaming, you're going to want a 120 hz monitor.

Yeah, if you're going to play a shooter where fast twitch movement is involved you're going to want a 120 hz monitor if you can afford one. I've played on one and trust me, it makes a major difference.

Moved to computer gaming discussion.

I'll tell you right off the bat that you should never get a TN panel display. The colors shift from the slightest angle change, and they bleed. I would not recommend picking either of those up, unless you are on a strict budget.

The TFT panel on the second one is a better option, and would be a nicer option if you don't have the cash for an IPS one.

Before I recommend some, if you don't mind me asking: What is your budget?

It looks like you are caring a lot about response times. The response times are irrelevant as long as they are under about 7. People say that realistically you cannot distinguish the difference if it's under 20MS, but I beg to differ.

My recommendation:

Really, you should get a 120Hz IPS display, but those don't come cheap.

The first one, u should use a monitor with 120 hz and less ms for the response.
