I've gathered some parts but want to know what you guys think. This is my 1st attempt and will decide to upgrade in the near future, but with these parts, will it last for the next 4-5 years?

It won't even last a year. Not a great CPU, and the FM1 socket is not a good socket to invest in.
The GPU is only for light gaming. Swap the CPU out for an i3 3220, and get a HZZ, the 1155 socket still has a lot of upgrade potential so you can easily upgrade in a year when you need to. Although if you have the money go for a Z77 motherboard so you have the option to get a good overclockable CPU in the future.
Drop the CPU fan, stock fan will do fine on a budget build, and change the GPU to a 7850.
If you want to save money you can drop the PSU down to a 550w.

ok i cant give u a list right now im on a cell phone. i will later if you want i'd get a fx6100 6core theyre 110$ and a cheap am3+ mobo thats like 60$ make sure it has good reviews and look at a 7850 2gb thats around 180$ dont get a 1gb 1 a 2gb 7850 should max alot of games and play bf3, skyrim very well and the fx cpus have really good cpu coolers in the box so dnt buy 1. ohter than that it would be a killer gaming pc for around 600$. and for a pc to be good after 5-6 years. you need to spend serious money. over 1500$ for sure
