(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); So I've had a Mac for the past 3 years, it was good, served me well until I got more into PC gaming and its specs are terrible for what I want to play (yes some games are available on Mac :P)
So I did some research, looked through sites and spoke to some friends and am deciding that this would be a good choice for my budget of ~1k
INTEL Core i7 3770 3.4GHz 1TB 8GB GTX650Ti 1GB Gaming Computer Quad Desktop PC

You must login or register to view this content.

Mainly it will be used for League of Legends, Skyrim, Valve games, Diablo III and whatever else I get into, not aiming to play like Bf3 on max graphics, (not even getting bf3 haha)

So just want opinions if this is a good choice or if I should just keep looking, I was also looking for a laptop instead of a desktop, but they are wayyy too expensive for my budget unless someone knows a good brand.

Also I live in Australia and we don't have many big computer companies that do custom builds, I got sent this quote from a local company for a pc they could build me

Climbing up the ladder
that I5 and 7870 would go and suit you for years to come
I'd go with that as the best option.
Take all those upgrades they're giving you especially the one for the 650W , you will need it.

Also upgraded to 1600mHz Ram
Picked it up on Saturday and had it set up on Sunday (haven't used a PC since I was 12, and everything was done for me) so I had a few problems finding why the monitor didn't work, but it was a stupid mistake, wrong port haha.
Also realised that it hasn't got an inbuilt network card so I need to go hunting for a network adapter, bam another $50-80 :|
This is working amazingly well though, playing LoL on max settings, gradually downloading all my Steam games and with Christmas I'll be getting more Smile

If anyone still looks at this, currently using Logitech M305 mouse (I have tiny hands) which I love and a Logitech keyboard that I found in my cupboard, but it has no features (eg media keys, quick access apps etc) which I'm not a fan of, any suggestion for a good but ~$50 keyboard thats good for all around computing and gaming, but mainly thats comfortable for a long period of time, any help is appreciated!
