(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I'm looking to build a cheap PC for light gaming and general overall use, not looking for an extreme gaming PC. Just something that can casually play a few games. My price range isn't that big either only about £400 maybe a little more but I doubt it.

this is a little on the low side but you don't play many super demanding game like you said in the shoutbox and when your games run a little slow add a front 120mm fan a good bitfenix one as it will match the case and fit better and a large heatsink or watercooler to overclock the cpu/gpu

I was going to make a setup, but this is literally what I was going to put. Maybe I might have changed something, but this works.

You would really want to get an i5, or i7 chip, or AMD chip.
If your going to play alot of games and have alot of programs on your computer i suggest getting 1 tb to around 1.5 tb hard drive.
You would want a good graphics card, usually 3gb around 6gb, you dont need it that high, but dual graphics card would be good.
Get a good cooling fan, or cooling tower, you would really need it if your playing big games.
The tower/case doesnt really matter, but you would have to get one depending on your specs.
depending on your price rate, you would have a good Computer, and dont really know where to get the components in the UK, but i do in U.S, or canada, so i really cant help you on where to get it. Lastly, this computer would be good enough to run a big game. (cant really think of a pc game right now, but probably it could run World of warcraft in HD, no lag, JUST ESTIMATING) And mostly, importantly, you would want to get a good MONITOR, do not get a bad monitor, For the best monitor you would probably want a 2ms response time, or 5ms. And FULL HD, or Advanced Display. Dont judge me on this, im trying to apply this on your price rate. ;l Enjoy BUILDING YOUR PC! Happy

NOTE: I dont have all the components written on this post to build your new pc, i only have some.
