Post: Looking for input on pc part list

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); List of parts if for a friend who is thinking of building a desktop. He currently is using a laptop with integrated graphics think intel hd 2500 or something like that.Just looking to see if this would work well together also opinion on the case for cable management also the psu would like to keep the max watt's close to what the system is putting out or it would be a waste of money other wise(its around 300watts). If you have any suggestions on parts just put a link to one your thinking and state why as im trying to help him keep this cheap

I'd suggest getting at least a 450W power supply just to be on the safe side, wouldn't want to suffer from a crash by chance. But other than that it looks operable

forgot to say he has a hdd already , when comparing the amd cpu which is just under $100 with gaming and general use whats the advantage of getting the dual core intel cpu ? which is also clocked lower

it has hyper threading for when doing heavy things and clock speed, cores don't mean much at all, it benches high in games and uses much less power You must login or register to view this content.

Get at least a 450W power supply. Preferably at least 80+ bronze. Modular-ity (not a word) is a bonus.
