I'm happy with how my GPU preforms, so I'll stick with that a little longer(maybe SLi it when I have a new mobo?). Alright heres what I've been looking at, how does it look?

Mobo.
MSI Z87-G45-GAMING. Main reason I've picked this is because it's not that expensive and it gives me the ability to run SLi as well as it has good reviews when it comes to overclocking. Another alternative is the Sabertooth, tho that's a tad more expensive.

CPU.
I'd like to get the 4770k, but as all I pretty much use my desktop for is internet and gaming I don't really need it. Therefore I'll settle with the 4670k.

Case.
My current case has both the 3.0 USB ports broken and the power switch, so I want to get a new case. I've been looking at the Fractal Design Define R4. It looks nice and clean, it's pretty silent and there's good room for installing and routing.

Any inputs? Is there anything else you would have picked?

Really all.you need is a case, sandy bridge is still a awesome CPU, just add a 780 or 780ti to a over clocked 2500k and a defined r4 is a awesome case or invest in a 290 and a 2560x1440 monitor

I don't know if its my mobo or the CPU, but it will NOT achieve a stable overclock. Not even upped by 0.1 Ghz. It's impossible..

Hmmm maybe its mobo, or CPU? You have good cooling also hmm well maybe a z77 and a new card as a 2500k is still a awesome CPU

Well as it sits now, it pretty much maxes out when I'm playing Bf4, leaving the game stuttering. =/

Btw, do you reccomend the G45 board or should I go with the Sabertooth instead?

Get a a reasonable priced z87 in the us the sabertooth is overpriced the MSI gaming end ones are nice, and you most likely need more GPU power, wait till the aftermarket coolers come for the 290, it will be a beast card

Meh. I'm in for a GPU upgrade in a year or so. The game stutters even on low settings due to the bottleneck in the CPU. One of my friends have no problem running the game on 3770k at 4,5Ghz, even tho that's pared with a 680 which shouldn't make a big difference. He sits in the 70 - 90 fps range on high, with AA off.

Confused what do really, but as my GPU suffice me atm, I'm going for a new CPU+mobo tho I know those should be the last parts one should upgrade.

You shouldn't be bottlenecking but yea if you did over clock you would see a few more fps, does it happen in other similarly intensive games like metro,etc

Aight, so I've bought the Define R4 and a 4770k, but I'm still really unsure of what mobo to get.. :p

3770k runs cooler and don't need a new motherboard but that's a good start
