Post: getting a gaming pc help

Here's a list I have put together and I hope it's of some use. I would not recommend a sound card unless your doing some kind of music production or have a high end headset. Also there is no need for a wired network card since almost every motherboard has onboard wired networking and since you included a wireless networking card I'm presuming you can't get wired connection making the wired card useless for you.

I would also see what Toke says as he is more knowledgeable on PC Building

i have a high end head set and thanks using your list as again i am terrible at part picking great help because i really don't want to make a mistake with this kind of price tag

I'd get a cheaper case in the $40 range like a source 210 and get a better keyboard and mouse combo along the lines of what he had before

The reason I picked the Define R4 was because it offers better cable management and more space to work with and I'm guessing that this person is a first time builder so it will make it easier. However the source 210 is still a great choice and this would allow for a better keyboard and mouse.

this will be my first gaming rig ever built but i guess it helps in my iss classes that we have already token apart computers and put them back together but they weren't gaming thanks for the help from you both
