Post: Help need pc for minecraft

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); So is it all about the CPU or video card for minecraft? Im a noob with desktops and was wondering what would be a good desktop to get with around $1000 that can run minecraft with atleast 400fps normal and id like atleast 150fps while recording any help is a appreciated and please quote this so I get a notification thanks!! And one more thing is it safe to buy used computer components? I need a whole desktop and trying to go cheap with with good stuff.

all of these questions could easily be answered with a google search, minecraft is a cpu game and there is no need to run it at 400fps when the highest refresh rate monitors only can show 144fps. yes you can get a very good gaming tower for $1000, and buying used parts are a buy at your own risk even though your budget is large enough to buy all new parts

And also why is it when youre looking up minecraft fps test videos they state what video card there running, if video cards don't matter for minecraft?

For new parts if you live in the us i would go with newegg.com or amazon.com mainly or some other ones to look at are tigerdirect.com or ncix.com

Well video cards matter for minecraft especially if you record/stream but if minecraft is the only game you will be playing then i wouldn't go to crazy on the gpu imo i think a amd 280x or gtx 760 could suit you enough for 1000$ would you like me to put a part list together real quick?
