Post: My new rig...$1600 budget (better than alienware x51)

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); So I just had a custom pc built last night for $1600... Check out what you can get for your money!

Intel Core i7 4790k, Nvidia 780ti 3GB graphics, 16GB kingston hyperx ram (2400mhz), 2TB WD HDD (black is the fastest), Samsung DVD R/RW, Windows 7 home premium, CoolerMaster 500w case, and Gigabyte Z97 motherboard

I built it according to the specs of the alienware's higher end x51 model (but even better).

Hope this helps anyone who's thinking of building their own pc. I was seriously considering the x51, but it's not expandable and portability wasn't an issue for me. I can upgrade this to 32gb ram in the future and it has space for expanding storage etc.
