1. Its it worth it or buying something like an iMac or MacPro from apple is the better choice?
2. I know that a hackintosh can boot both windows and OSX but the question is: Can it display windows on one monitor and OSX on the other monitor cuz I want to do a double monitor display.
3. Any tips for parts would be great. Budget: $1500<x>$2500.

2. No, only one of the partitions on the hard drive can be active at once.
3. I'm pretty sure intel is well supported by mac. do your research, play your cards right and hopefully you'll have a workstation

Pretty much this. From what I've seen just by looking into them slightly they are more trouble than what they are worth. You're better off to either build a windows PC, or buy a (pos locked down limited) Apple product.

I suppose in theory you could build windows then run MAC OS through Virtual Machine, but I don't see why you'd want/need Mac OS for anything.

For the budget you have you could build one hell of a PC.

Hi, u really can use OSX or windows(7), not together, windows will be best installed VIA BOOTCAMP, or on another HDD.
BEST WAY to start is "myHACK", to get a bootable OSX version. Older 10.6.0-8 u have to install via CD/DVD, the more modern way is VIA usb-stick. 10.7.4 and higher must be started via usb-stick.
FIRST of all u need to know, what software u will use on OSX, then decide which version u like to take.
AS hardware, I´d prefer GIGABYTE motherboards, fired up with INTEL pentium I5 or I7. Another problem WILL /CAN Cause the AUDIO-HARDWARE and the GPU (graca). Have a look at the OSX and the suiting MAC-Computer, which GPU is built in and supported!
AUDIO WONT WORK MOST OF THE TIME. SOLUTION: TAKE USB AUDIO DEVICE OR SPEND 100 - 200 bugs for a blackmagic movie card (has audio build in with HDMI IN/OUT).
U MUST LEARN ABOUT THE BOOTFLAGS AND HOW THEY WORK TO GET THE SYSTEM TO INSTALL THE OSX.

I am not trying to build a pc for gaming cuz gaming on the pc is not my thing. I just something that is powerful and won't let me down. I do a lot of photoshop. I want something that I used for everyday stuff such as homework, running adobe, multiple programs etc. I want something that is around $1000 there. I might not build a hackintosh cuz I am just a beginners.

Hi,
this is my own way / system to create a hackintosh.
And it always worked, old or new doesn´t matter.
Lot of people use older software only working with/on older o.s.
I personally prefer mac os x (10) 6.8...best os ever!
