(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hey guys so, I'm looking to build my first gaming pc and I'm running on a bit of a budget. Max is probably $800 - $810. I'm just looking for anyone's suggestions on it since I'm kinda new to this stuff :P

CPU: Intel Core i5-6500 3.2GHz Quad-Core Processor

Motherboard: MSI H110M Pro-VD Micro ATX LGA1151 Motherboard

RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-3000 Memory

Storage: Crucial BX100 250GB 2.5" Solid State Drive + Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive

GPU: EVGA GeForce GTX 960 4GB SuperSC ACX 2.0+ Video Card

I'll concur that having a good bit of ram is nice. But for a first build I'd honestly drop from 16GB of ram to 8GB. And see if you can throw that extra cash towards a 970. It won't completely cover it but it'll still be close after mail in rebates. Other than that I'd say it's a pretty solid build.

Can’t trickshot me!
- I agree about what the above user said about RAM.
- SuperNOVA NEX is mediocre. Overpriced for what it is. It's not a terrible PSU, but for what you're paying, you might as well call it terrible. You could get a better PSU that is properly priced.
- Case is meh. You could get a better case for the same price.
With the amount of money saved, you could invest into a better GPU.

Take a look at the build below. All I did was change the 16GB RAM to 8GB, went with a better quality PSU, and a cheaper case. Now, a R9 390 can be fit into the build. Take a look at benchmarks to see the performance difference between a GTX 960 and a R9 390.
