tbh your best bet would to search utube and sites like that.. plently of vids explaining "how to build a computer"

im doing the same thing, google is your friend, basically you need:
MotherBoard
Processor
Graphics card
Hard drive
Case
Power supply
network card
I think thats all, I might of missed something. Check out the intel site as they show what motherboards/processors support each other

yea basically got it all, but the network card is usually built into the motherboard. You also missed RAM.

A tip is to buy a better motherboard, processor and ram. The video card hard drive(s) you can upgrade later. As for power supply I have a i7 and 12gigs of ram with a 750wat power supply so you dont need a very expensive one.

Ah, ram. I got 6 gb for my i7 would that be good?
