I wanted to make it good so i also bought a housing face and backplate it included screwdrivers and shit.
under the battery though, there are 2 black screws which see impossible to unscrew next to these 2 are 2 silver. What can i do?

hmmmm....i dont know why.... maybe cause he wants to hack it? lol
and most of the 2001 series are unhackable. you can check your motherboard however, using pspident. then check it against this chart

once you do that, if it is hackable, then you can hack it. you can downgrade it using a pandora battery and magic memory stick, which you can buy, but are NOT hard to make. after its downgraded, you can easily install cfw on it. any questions PM me.
btw you can only go into recovery mode by downgrading it lol

If he's not intending to install CFW there's no point writing a whole guide on it why I was checking. Anyway for versions 5.03 and lower (I think) you can use ChickHen to install CFW and it's so much easier than making a Battery and Mem Stick.
