Head's up to the PSP homebrew community, homebrew dev Malloxis has released his savedata exploit for the PSP firmware 6.20 that works on all PSP models including the PSP Go. According to the dev, the hack was discovered because of a loophole in the Patapon 2 demo with the help of N00b81, m0skit0 and wololo. The dev also promises an e-loader is already in the works so stay tuned.

Remember guys, you'll need a Patapon 2 demo for the exploit to work.

Well there you go. Looks like Hacked 6.20 PSPs are on their way. =]

Could someone move this to news if they feel it's is worthy enough and important enough to go in there.

yeah nofx told me about it this morning, I decided to install the 6.20 ofw on an old launch psp(extra of mine) and I put the exploit on there, sad thing is that it only has a 32mb memory stick, meaning I cannot fit the demo on there :(

I have a memory stick big enough for this.

As soon as the E-Loader is out, I plan to make a video tutorial on how to install and use this Exploit and E-Loader for NGU channel.

Look into HBLA, Ive been talking with m0skit0 and its actually already able to load some homebrew via papaton 2 and Ive been able to do a few things with it.

Though really to use it(in its current state) you will need PSPSDK.

Yeah I looked into that HB Loader. I'm not a fan of loading it through a game. I am waiting for a loader to come out that will hopefully work outside of the game.

HEN Mode anyone?

technically to get something like eggxploit(what its actually called) at the current state that we are on with 6.20 it would be quite a bit of work. People have only found crashes that are in USER MODE(that we know of) that are limited even when they are fully working.

YES, you could play ISO's through user mode, the thing is in user mode you need to do a lot more work than people want for piracy where as in kernal you simply have to change a few kernals and functions and you have an ISO loader.

Possibly one day as you know you can turn a user mode exploit to do something to mess around with kernal.

And about it working the Go, perhaps the nid's or whatever are different as only less than a handful of people have gotten it to work on the Go.
